Raku-Chino Environmental Facility Completion in Asahi Town, Toyama [25 Years Ago Today]

 

The completion ceremony and celebration for the Raku-Chino environmental interaction facility in Asahi Town, Toyama Prefecture, were held. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted by stakeholders, followed by the first swim in the facility’s heated pool.

Q. What is Raku-Chino?

Raku-Chino is a multi-functional facility in Asahi Town designed as a hub for environmental information, catering to a wide range of generations from toddlers to elderly people. The two-story building, constructed using reinforced concrete with some wooden components, was built with a total project cost of approximately 2.7 billion yen. The first floor includes a pool zone, training room, and learning plaza, while the second floor features relaxation facilities such as the Jomon Bath, Jade Bath, and Herbal Bath.
