Aoi Tsuki, selling 50,000 croissants in the first six months since opening, will hold an autumn appreciative festival in Fukui
Aoi Tsuki, a croissant and specialty coffee store in Wada Higashi, Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture, will hold a large autumn appreciative festival in front of the store on November 30th to celebrate its six-month anniversary. The event will include lot drawing, a trial of making hand-drip coffee, a croissant rusk grab game, and a ring toss. Hige Shoten will also sell baked sweet potatoes at the venue.
Aoi Tsuki’s handmade croissants, made with fermented butter from France, are a hot-selling product that has sold 50,000 since the store opened, and participants can enjoy freshly baked ones with piping hot specialty coffee on the day.
The exact date and time is 10:00-16:00 on Saturday, November 30th, 2024. It will take place even if it drizzles. The venue address is Wada Higashi 1-707, Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture.
The prizes for the lot drawing on the day for the guests buying something more than 2,000 yen include a first prize of 10,000 yen-worthy gift certificates. Since no losing tickets exist, every participant will win something.
(Hokuroku editorial department comments: Croissants!! Just hearing the word makes me happy. Eleven years ago, when I opened a cafe in Toyama, getting ideal croissants nearby was very challenging, and I finally decided to buy frozen ones from France. I want to eat handmade croissants in Toyama: Hiroyuki, the executive producer
After the store opened, anyone couldn’t buy these croissants without numbered tickets. Such a specialty store is super-rare in the Hokuriku region, and I hope to savor them. The hand-drip experience also sounds fun!: Takahashi, editor)
