According to the Economics and Statistics Administration of the U.S. and other sources, the world population must exceed 6 billion at noon Japan time.

 

The world’s population reached 3 billion in 1960 and has doubled in about 40 years.

The United Nations Population Fund’s “World Population Report 2024” states that the world population in 2024 will be 8.119 billion.
